What kind of zombie contest would this be if it didn't rise from the dead?

Welcome to the final round of DeviantDead! It's been quite a while! Several people fell off the internet and got busy but we want to end this mother in style.

You may have noticed that we skipped past the winner of Round 4. This was done deliberately. As we were in the process of pulling together our judges, our good friend and former contestant `noseSHARK offered an interesting idea - and we here at DeviantDead HQ like interesting ideas. We brought it up to our three semifinalists and they seemed amiable, so we're going to go with it.








This round will be a three-way final round.

The prompt is to finish your story.



That's it! That is all our lovely contestants need to do!

You may ask about the weird abnormalities this may cause, especially since ~Crispy-Gypsy and ~gravitationaltim (and even *Buuya!) ended their rounds so differently. Well, anonymous strawman, you'll notice that the prompt is only to finish your story. Not the other finalists - yours and yours alone. Essentially, each finalist is creating a conclusion to their arc as it stood at the end of Round 4. If it helps, think of this as Round 4+.

What does this mean? Anything the finalists want. The involvement level of other characters is up to them (although at the very least we’re going to encourage some sort of cameo). We just want a satisfying conclusion to the amazing stories and characters that we've had the honor of reading about over this past year and a half.

The deadline is May 31st at 10pm EST. Please keep in mind, finalists, that while we've been generous in the past with extensions, there will not be a lot of wiggle room. Plan on having your comic ready by the 31st.
